High School students participate in the NYSSMA Music Festival

The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) hosts an annual music festival made up of the top student musicians from our surrounding five counties. Selection into this regional festival is based on an adjudication process that took place this past Spring. Many schools are privileged to have just a few students accepted into this festival. We are happy to share that Washingtonville High School had 25 selected!  The Area All-State festival took place on November 17 & 18 at Wallkill High School. Our students had the pleasure of working for two days with professional level conductors. The event ended with a public performance of college level music.
