Seniors at WHS show their skills on the grill to wrap up their Food and Nutrition course

Seniors in the Food and Nutrition class at Washingtonville High School were grilling it up as they learned about the benefits and techniques for grilling on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Bob Gellman, Food Service Director, instructed students on how to properly turn a grill on during the lesson, when and how to handle the meat on the grill, proper grilling utensils, how to check when the meat is done cooking, sanitation, safety and much more. Each group made a side dish to add to the BBQ.
