FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH

We are pleased to announce that all students enrolled at Washingtonville CSD will be able to receive a FREE breakfast and lunch meal at school beginning on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

The Making a Difference Awards recognize the many examples of individual teachers, aides, drivers, safety, and other District staff that are making a difference in the lives of our children throughout our buildings.

Nina Giordani, who has been teaching at Washingtonville High School since 2007, was recently honored by Senator James Skoufis at the first annual Women’s Recognition Night at Tapped Brewery and Bar in Middletown.

Faculty and staff from Washingtonville Central School District’s three elementary schools – Little Britain, Round Hill and Taft – learned about how poverty can affect a family at any time and what they can do to help them when they have a need. The whole district is now experienced in poverty simulation, teaching them how to help families who have a poverty need.
