More than 120 Class of 2025 scholarships awarded

On Tuesday evening, the Washingtonville Central School District proudly presented over 120 senior scholarship awards to graduating seniors, made possible through the generous support of the community. 

Principal Brian Connolly said the Class of 2025 earned a total $6.1 million in scholarships.

“Seniors, way back when, four years ago, I gave you some advice and told you to work hard, get involved, take advantage of opportunities and make good decisions,” he said. “The fact that you are sitting here tonight indicates to me that you took that advice to heart, so congratulations to you. It has been an absolute joy for me to watch you enter as freshmen, not knowing what laid in front of you, to now leave Washingtonville High School as graduates, finding your pride, your passion and your purpose. You have done a wonderful job and made us proud.”
