Students in Washingtonville High School’s Music Production and Engineering course have spent the year learning how to create, mix and record music through the use of digital music production software and now they’re sharing the results!
Taught by WHS music teacher Jeremy Groth, the course gave students hands-on experience with music production. They started by mixing premade loops and gradually moved on to creating original tracks, recording instruments and editing their own compositions.
To wrap up the year, students collaborated on a Greatest Hits album, selecting their favorite songs they completed throughout the course. The result is a showcase of their creativity and growth, featuring a wide range of styles and sounds.
