Area All-State: On November 23, 2024, 19 Washingtonville High School music students participated in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Area All-State honor band, orchestra, and chorus music festival. The event took place at Suffern High School. Students throughout the five surrounding counties (Orange, Sullivan, Rockland, Ulster, Greene) earn positions in the honor band, chorus, and orchestra based on their NYSSMA Solo festival audition score.

New York All-State: On December 5 - 8, 2024, three Washingtonville High School music students participated in the New York All-State Honors Band & Chorus music festival. This festival took place at the NYSSMA Winter Conference, in Rochester, NY. Andrew Dahlstrom was a member of the All-State Wind Ensemble, and Cooper Smith and Wani Miguel were members of the All-State Mixed Chorus. Selection into the All-State ensembles are based on a rigorous adjudication process. Only 5% of all the students who auditioned on a Level 6 All-State solo earn a position in the All-State ensembles. Their concert took place at the world-renowned Eastman School of Music.
