Dear Student and Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to the High School! In preparation for beginning your first year in the high school, the Guidance Department is presenting an orientation for incoming 9th graders, new students to the district and their parents/guardians. This new student orientation will take place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The presentation in the auditorium will take approximately one hour and then the students will have the opportunity to walk through and familiarize themselves with the high school.
Our goal is to introduce to you the high school counselors, administrators, and student leaders. In addition, you will be receiving your Fall schedule and several other handouts. We strongly encourage parents to attend this orientation with their child. Our experience is that the information we disseminate is useful to the parents as well as the students, and students are better behaved when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We hope to see you and your child on August 26th. Enjoy the rest of your summer break.
